Recycling & Waste Valorization

We don’t just reduce waste—we transform it. From plastic pavers to eco-friendly bricks and compost from organic waste, we repurpose waste into valuable materials that contribute to Rwanda’s infrastructure and environmental sustainability.

The plastic process goes through the following steps:

Collection

We partner with local communities, businesses, and institutions to collect plastic waste.

Sorting

The collected plastics are meticulously categorized by type. This crucial step involves separating PET bottles, HDPE containers, LDPE, and other plastic types, ensuring that the recycled materials meet high industry standards for reuse.

Processing

At our Mageragere facility, the sorted and cleaned plastics are processed into eco-friendly bricks and pavers. These bricks and pavers are primarily utilized in construction projects, effectively reducing the demand for virgin plastic and supporting sustainable building practices. Notably, we provided these bricks to construct Rwanda’s first plastic house in Rwanda made entirely from plastic bricks, showcasing the innovative applications of our recycling efforts. We also made a road made of plastic pavers at the Hazardous Waste Treatment plant located at Mageragere sector. The project is still a pilot before its expansion.
